Deed of Separation

If you and your spouse have separated from each other, it might be in both parties’ best interests to sign a Deed of Separation in order to record the separation and any related agreements so as to avoid future disputes.

We will be able to sit with you and your spouse to negotiate the terms of your Deed of Separation, and to ensure that you are aware of the issues that can be canvassed. This Deed can usually be done in a day or two – and we have personally attended to clients from different backgrounds and nationalities. If you want to know how binding a deed of separation can be in Singapore, our divorce specialists will be able to inform you on the same based on existing legal principles.
